Importing Camera Motion Path from Blender (VFX Camera Tracker) into Nubigon?

I'm working on a cinematic animation using a point cloud in Nubigon, and I’d like to import a camera motion path from Blender. Specifically, I'm using a motion-tracked camera path generated via Blender’s Motion Capture VFX module (i.e., camera tracking, not just keyframed animation).

So far, I have:

  • A fully animated camera in Blender (position + rotation over time).

  • Access to the camera’s keyframes and matrix transforms via Python.

  • The ability to export JSON or other formats if needed (CSV, etc.).

I’ve looked through the Nubigon documentation and interface but haven’t found a clear method to import an external camera path or animate the camera across a timeline using external data. It’s not clear if Nubigon supports camera path import from:

  • FBX

  • Alembic

  • USD

  • Custom text formats like JSON/CSV

  • or from curves or null objects as proxies

My questions:

  1. Is it currently possible to import an animated camera into Nubigon?

  2. If yes, what formats or methods are supported?

  3. Is there a way to use an imported curve or set of keyframes as a proxy for the camera movement?

  4. If not, is there a suggested workaround — for example, manually placing keyframes, using match-moving tools, or perhaps scripting?

I suspect this might not be supported yet, but I’d appreciate any tips or confirmation before going too deep into a workaround (or switching rendering software).

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your message. It's exciting to hear you’re working on a cinematic animation in NUBIGON!

Yes, you can import animated cameras into NUBIGON using the glTF format. Just export your tracked camera from Blender as a glTF file, and bring it into NUBIGON and use it as your camera animation.

Keep us posted how it goes! We'd love to hear more about your project! Feel free to contact us directly: https://www.nubigon.com/contact
