CAD export
CAD objects (curves and points) created in NUBIGON can be exported as DXF or DWG files.
- Organize your CAD objects into groups.
- Select groups and/or individual CAD objects from the Object List.
- Go to File > Export > Export CAD.
- To export in the same coordinate as the point cloud, choose the point cloud from the Offset dropdown.
- Enter your file name and press Save.
The name and color of the groups (CAD layers) will also be exported to the DXF/DWG file. Objects that are not under a group (pillar and pillar (2) in the above example) will be exported in the default CAD layer "0".
Mesh export
Meshes created in NUBIGON can be exported as OBJ files.
- Select a single mesh from the Object List.
- Go to File > Export > Export Mesh.
- To export in the same coordinate as the point cloud, choose the point cloud from the Offset dropdown.
- Enter your file name and press Save.
