The Object Inspector in NUBIGON allows you to view and edit a selected object's transformation and various attributes. By default, it's located in the bottom right corner of the interface, but you can undock or close it as needed. To reopen the Object Inspector, go to Windows > Object Inspector.
When no object is selected, the Object Inspector displays the message: "Select a single object to view and edit its attributes." It supports only single selections; selecting multiple objects will prompt the same message.
Upon selecting an object, the Object Inspector shows its name and provides expandable sections based on the object type:
Page | Usage |
Transform Attributes | View and edit the selected object's transformation values. |
Object Attributes | Access both editable and non-editable attributes (e.g., the number of mesh vertices). |
Material Attributes | Create and assign new materials to the object and customize material settings. |
Color Source | Assign a color source (point color, object color, elevation, or intensity) to the selected point cloud and customize its properties. You can also create and assign new color scales for point cloud types here. |
Motion Path | Compute the animation motion path for the selected object and toggle its visibility. |
