NUBIGON features essential CAD drawing tools for as-built modeling.
Launch the CAD window
from the sidebar.
Drawing Plane
- When Horizontal is selected, the first point defines the horizontal drawing plane.
- When Vertical is selected, the first two points define the vertical drawing plane.
- The Free drawing plane is defined by the first three points.
- With None (3D), you can draw 3D polylines.
Draw
Open polyline
- Press & hold X or click the polyline icon to activate polyline drawing mode.
- Left-click to specify the first vertex of the polyline.
- Left-click to specify the second vertex of the polyline.
- Left-click to continue specifying vertices as needed.
- Release X, press Esc, or click the polyline icon to end the drawing. Once you exit the drawing mode, a new polyline will be created in the Object List.
Closed polyline
- Press & hold X or click the polyline icon to activate polyline drawing mode.
- Left-click to specify the first vertex of the polyline.
- Left-click to specify the second vertex of the polyline.
- Left-click to specify the third vertex of the polyline.
- Left-click to continue specifying vertices as needed.
- Left-click on the first vertex to close the polyline.
- Release X, press Esc, or click the polyline icon to end the drawing.
In the Object List, your polyline will appear with the icon 
if a drawing plane is chosen or with the icon 
if None (3D) is chosen.
Arc
- Click the arc icon to activate arc drawing mode.
- Left-click to specify the start point.
- Left-click to specify the endpoint.
- Left-click to specify a point on the arc.
- Press Esc or click the arc icon to deactivate arc drawing.

Circle
- Click the circle icon to activate circle drawing mode.
- Left-click to specify the first point on the circle.
- Left-click to specify the second point on the circle.
- Left-click to specify the third point on the circle.
- Press Esc or click the circle icon to deactivate circle drawing.

Click the point icon to activate point drawing mode and left-click to define a point. The Object List icon of a point is
