NUBIGON provides tools to save and load scenes, making it easier to organize your point clouds, models, materials, camera positions, and animation data.
Creating a New Scene
Go to the File menu and select New Scene. Alternatively, click the toolbar icon. This starts a new empty scene.
Saving a Scene
To save your current scene, go to the File menu and click Save Scene (Shortcut: Ctrl+S). Alternatively, click the toolbar icon.
Loading a Saved Scene
Go to the File menu and select Load Scene (Shortcut: Ctrl+L). Alternatively, click the toolbar icon .
Important: As of NUBIGON v7, old scene files are not supported. Existing octrees can be opened normally.
Scene Management in the Trial Version
The trial version of NUBIGON provides valuable tools to explore its capabilities:
Saving Scenes: While scene-saving is not fully enabled in the trial version, octrees generated during the trial are automatically saved in the project folder during processing.
Accessing Octrees: The generated octrees are automatically available and can be opened without needing to regenerate them, allowing you to efficiently explore your data.
