Settings Window

The Settings Window in NUBIGON consists of four pages: Navigation, Background, Graphics, and Translate/Rotate/Scale. You can open this window by clicking the link  in the upper-right corner of the application.


Navigation

Whether you are flying through a scene, orbiting around a specific object, or using a gamepad, this section allows you to adjust navigation behaviors to align with your workflow. For detailed guidance, visit the Navigation Settings page.


Background

The Background page allows you to choose between a solid color background or a skybox. For detailed instructions, visit the Background Settings page.


Graphics

The Graphics page provides tools to adjust the visual quality and appearance of your project, enhancing both aesthetics and visual clarity. It includes options such as:

  • Enabling Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO) for realistic shading and depth effects
  • Configuring Image-based Lighting for advanced reflections and illumination
  • Applying clay-like materials for meshes or point clouds to simplify visualization

Translate/Rotate/Scale
